About Elite Xtreme Combat

The Combat is also known as EliteXC. It is a United States based martial arts (MMA) association. EliteXC was established in partnership between ProElite and Showtime Networks Incorporation. It was incorporated and formally proclaimed on December 14, 2006. It has its headquarters in LA, California.

The first main event happened on February 10, 2007 in Southaven at DeSoto Civil Center, Mississippi. Fighters Renzo Gracie and Frank Shamrock struggled in the major event. It is also the address of Mixed Martial Arts Fighter Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson. On February 27, 2008 EliteXC achieved an accord with the CBS to show EliteXC concerts at prime time. If successful, it is considered that CBS would show EliteXC specials on every Saturday night of every other month.

The administration of EliteXC is a qualified, capitalist team. The CEO of the company, Douglas DeLuca who has created hundreds of hours of net and cable TV, Live proceedings; President Gary Shaw, who is a famous boxing supporter, and Kelly Perdew, champion of “Apprentice 2” and the ex-president of eteamz, the President of EliteXC founded the company to encourage the MMA sport; capitalizing on the enthusiasm produced by synchronized, professional matches
