Arguably the most anticipated match of the entire 2014 Guinness International Champions Cup is this Aug. 2 showdown between Manchester United FC and the tournament's defending champion Real Madrid. Interestingly enough, this contest at the Big House, otherwise known as Michigan Stadium, will be the only one taking place at a collegiate venue when ICC action comes to Ann Arbor this summer. The stakes will surely be high as well, as the match will be the last for both ManU and Real Madrid in group play and may very well determine which Group A club advances to the International Champions Cup Final in Miami two days later.

Michigan Stadium Seating Information

The main Michigan Stadium seating area is split up into Sections 1-44. The Club Levels, located on the east and west ends of the stadium above the general seating area, include 300-500 Levels in the upper portions of the venue. For this Aug. 2 match, the clubs are expected to occupy the same sideline, in front of Sections 20-26, though this is subject to change.

Michigan Stadium General Information

For a safe and enjoyable experience on match day, guests are advised not to bring outside food and drink, any type of bag, umbrellas, and coolers. However, typical permitted items include blankets, personal cameras, and seat cushions. Note that Michigan Stadium is generally alcohol-free, but in the case of this special event, the venue has petitioned for a temporary liquor license for the match.

Michigan Stadium Parking Information

Several parking lots are located within walking distance of Michigan Stadium, and parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Space may be limited, so prepare to arrive early to ensure a spot.

Michigan Stadium Gate Times

Michigan Stadium gates generally open two hours early, but times may differ in the case of a special event like Manchester United vs Real Madrid on Aug. 2.
