Churchill Downs Seating Information
Infield - (General Admission) - Soak up a low-cost, party-atmosphere at the "Run for the Roses" by securing Standing Room Only Infield Passes, which are the cheapest way to experience the big race. Infield Club access grants patrons entrance to the area's tented VIP lounge areas as well.
Grandstand - (Sections 119-128, 221-225, and 322-325) - The Grandstand is located on the east end of the track and is divided into three separate levels: Grandstand (Section 322-325), Grandstand Terrace (Section 119-128), and Grandstand Mezzanine (Section 221-225). Seats closest to the finish line are amongst the most valuable offered for the event.
Clubhouse - (Sections 212, 218, 220, and 312-321) - Kentucky Derby Clubhouse seats are your best bet at getting closest to the finish line on Derby Day. The third level of Clubhouse seating is covered and features box seats.
Churchill Downs Premium Seating Information
Suites - Suite options include Jockey Club Suites, Finish Line Suites, Interior Premium Boxes, and Matt Winn Room tables. Jockey Club suites can fit up to 24 guests and are outfitted with custom catering, race wagering devices, and a sweeping balcony overlooking the track.
Millionaires Row - Millionaires Row offers an experience of absolute luxury. Located on the 4th and 6th Floor, the VIP tables on Millionaires Row are famous for their gourmet cuisine and celebrity guests. The Skye Terrace tables are available right next to Millionaires Row in Sections 412-414, 513-514, and 613-614.
Select Rooms - Another premium seating alternative for fans is the track's luxurious Select Room ticket packages. Rent a table at Churchill Downs' Gold Room or Silks Room to take in the Kentucky Derby in an exceedingly private and comfortable setting.
Churchill Downs Concessions Information
Guests 21 years of age and older can purchase alcoholic beverages on the premises during race days. A variety of cocktails and beers are typically available for sale. Race attendees also have a number of food options to choose from, available at concession stands, buffets, and restaurants throughout the venue.
Churchill Downs Dress Code
Infield seating areas feature a comfortable and relaxed dress code. Umbrellas are not allowed at Churchill Downs on race days, so you should dress accordingly in case of inclement weather. Reserved seating areas require guests to follow a business casual dress code. Guests are generally advised against wearing jeans, shorts, tank tops, athletic apparel, midriff-baring tops, or torn or disheveled clothing in reserved seating areas.
Churchill Downs Parking Information
On-site parking at Churchill Downs is often fully booked, so be sure to purchase a pass in advance from the marketplace when items are available for purchase. Additional parking may also be offered at the nearby John's Cardinal Stadium and Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center. Round-trip shuttle service is usually available between these off-site lots and Churchill Downs. Designated taxi and bus depots are also available for those with Kentucky Derby tickets who prefer to use public transportation.
