New Jersey Devils Midseason Update - Feb 2007During the 2006-07 season, the New Jersey Devils are attempting to maintain their position among the best teams in the National Hockey League's Eastern Conference. Many talented players help the team remain the first in their division, like goaltender Martin Brodeur and the offensive players such as Patrik Elias, Scott Gomez, and Brian Gionta. The New Jersey Devils are sure to participate in the playoffs once again. However, this season is scheduled to be the last one in Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey, as at the moment, a new facility is being constructed (the Prudential Center in Newark).
