Larry the Cable Guy History

Not really from the south, Larry the Cable Guy was born in Pawnee City, Nebraska in 1963. Not really named Larry the Cable Guy, he is Daniel Lawrence Whitney. He first started his career as a radio disc jockey in Missouri. He worked as a personality at various other radio stations developing his Larry the Cable Guy persona before he met the guys and hopped on The Blue Collar Comedy Tour. His routine consists of numerous catchphrases he has become known for including: “GIT-R-DONE”, "Lord, I apologize for that right there, and please be with the starvin' pygmies down there in New Guinea, A-men," and his “Madder than” jokes such as "Madder than a legless Ethiopian watching a donut roll down a hill." He has released numerous comedy albums: Lord, I Apologize (2001), The Right to Bare Arms (2005) and Morning Constitutions (2007). In 2006 he starred in his own movie, Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector. He was the voice of Ryder in Disney’s The Fox And The Hound 2 and the voice of Mater from Disney/Pixar’s movie Cars.
