Radio City Christmas Makes Changes in 2011
Although the Radio City Christmas Spectacular has been around since FDR was in the oval office, the annual holiday revue is still finding new ways to stay new and exciting. Playing at Radio City Music Hall from November 11th-January 2nd, the show will incorporate a brand new 3D adventure entitled: The Rockettes Magical Journey. While the Spectacular will still include many of the show's classic scenes ("Twelve Days of Christmas," "The Parade of Wooden Soldiers"), this year's show will introduce cutting-edge 3D technology. According media reports, those buying 2011 Radio City Christmas tickets will also be in for a few new songs and scenes from the world-famous Rockettes. In addition to the NYC show, the touring production will make multi-week stops in Boston, Durham, and Nashville this holiday season.
