Many comedians are forced to settle for delivering their material inside small venues around the country, but Mike Epps has put in the work to fill some of the country’s finest arenas, and that’s exactly what he has planned for the “Mike Epps LIVE!” tour. The stand-up comedy veteran is trekking all over the U.S. with dates scheduled from March through October, and some of the heralded venues that he’s set to perform at include the KFC YUM! Center in Louisville, Ky. (March 16), Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C. (May 12), and Club Nokia in Los Angeles (June 28). The final show of the tour is scheduled to take place at the Terrace Theatre in Long Beach, Calif., on Oct. 13.
Epps has become a fan favorite over the years for his multi-talented skills, which includes everything from appearing in films to delving into the rap game. Recently, Epps was awarded an NAACP Image Award for best supporting actor in the film, “Jumping the Broom,” and he’s scheduled to begin filming the fourth installment of the “Friday” movie franchise, “Last Friday,” later this year. Those who purchase Mike Epps tickets may be in for a special treat, as he’s scheduled to be joined by legendary rapper, Doug E. Fresh, and on select dates, comedian Tony Rock, who is the younger brother of comic legend, Chris Rock.
