About Aerosmith


Steven Tyler met Joe Perry while he working as a dishwasher in a New Hampshire restaurant, a meeting that led to the formation of one of Americas most revered rock bands. Releasing their self-titled debut album in 1973, Aerosmiths original line-up included Tyler and Perry, along with Tom Hamilton, Joey Kramer and Ray Tabano. After Tyler (a drummer) insisted on being the lead singer, they recruited Joey Kramer, a music student who quit school to join the band. After playing some successful shows, Aerosmith signed with Columbia Records in 1972 and released their eponymous first album.  more
