About Alkaline Trio

McHenry County, Illinois’ own Alkaline Trio was formed in 1996 with Matt Skiba on guitar and vocals, Rob Doran on bass and vocals, and Glenn Porter on drums and vocals. In 1997, they released their first EP, Sundials. Rob Doran left the group and was replaced by Dan Andriano (former singer of Tuesday and bassist for Slapstick). Their second EP, For Your Lungs Only, in 1998 earned them a midwestern fan base that lead to their first full-length album, Goddamnit. In 2000, they released Maybe I’ll Catch Fire and a collection of their former EP’s through Asian Man Records.  more
