Bad Company and Lynyrd Skynyrd Team Up for 'The 40 Tour'
To the delight of many fans, Bad Company announced a forthcoming tour in summer 2013 alongside Southern rock band, Lynyrd Skynyrd. This dynamic pairing is a dream lineup for classic rock fans, as “The 40 Tour” will hit 12 lucky cities around the country, beginning June 20 at the White River Amphitheatre in Auburn, Wash., and traveling to other venues such as the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif. (6/23) and Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Va. (7/14). The run will conclude on July 27 at the Bethel Woods Center in Bethel, N.Y. Fellows rockers, Black Stone Cherry, have been tapped as the opening act.
Throughout the 70s, Bad Company and Lynyrd Skynyrd dominated American rock radio stations, and the forthcoming tour will allow fans to sing along with many of the timeless hits that each band has produced over the years.
