Harper Hitting the Road with Musselwhite for 2013 Get Up! tour
Two-time Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter Ben Harper is headed back on the road for a string of shows taking place from March until May, but this time around he’ll be joined by legendary blues harmonica player Charlie Musselwhite. The duo will hit the road in support of their collaborative album, “Get Up!” which was released on January 29th, and anyone who’s into American Blues music owes it to themselves to be there. The tour is set to kick off on March 1st at Danforth Music Hall in Toronto, and from there the pair will trek around the United States until the last show at the Doheny Blues Festival in Dana Point, California, on May 18th and 19th. Tickets for the shows are on sale now.
Along the way, the pair will make appearances at some of the finest venues in the country, including stops at Riviera Theatre in Chicago, IL, on March 3rd; the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in New Orleans, LA, on April 27th; the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC, on May 2nd; the Beacon Theatre in New York City, NY, on May 3rd; and the Orpheum theatre in Boston, MA, on May 4th.
