Blake Shelton Background Information

Blake Shelton is a well-known American country music singer. He became famous after the release of "Austin", the first single from his eponymous debut album. The following singles did not sell so well, however, they hit Top 20 charts. In 2003, Shelton had another great hit with the single "The Baby" that was released on his sophomore album entitled The Dreamer.

In October 2004, the musician released a DVD of his videos Blake Shelton's Barn & Grill: Video Collection. During the following year, he toured extensively in support of his new album that featured a coveted opening spot on Rascal Flatts's sold-out Here's to You tour. In late 2005, several songs of the musician, including the well-known Nobody But Me, appeared on the television movie entitled The Christmas Blessing. The film featured Neil Patrick Harris, Rebecca Gayheart, Angus T. Jones, and Rob Lowe. Shelton had a small role at the end of the film, playing himself at a concert, performing Nobody But Me.
