Fleet Foxes Helplessness Blues and 2011 Tour News
Helplessness Blues, is the second studio album from Emerald City indie folk outfit Fleet Foxes and what Spin Magazine calls "The Most Beautiful Album of the Year." The masterfully recorded twelve-song epic has somehow found a way to outdo the group's magnificent first studio work (Fleet Foxes). Pecknold's brilliant layered voice rings out throughout the album in awe-inspiring melodies fit for rock heroes Van Morrison, Neil Young, and the like. Fleet Foxes were over in England recently and starred on Later...with Jools Holland playing "Grown Ocean."
Fans in some American cities won't have to wait to get the record on May 3rd, 2011. Fleet Foxes tickets are on sale now for the group's upcoming concerts in the Pacific Northwest. Following their shows in Vancouver, Portland, and Seattle, the six-piece band will tour throughout the country this summer.
