New Found Glory has been a band since 1997. It wasn’t until the band was picked up by Eulogy Records that they released their first studio album, Nothing Gold Can Stay, in 1999. The album was a hit and the band toured extensively thus gathering a large following of pop-punk enthusiasts nationwide. In 2000 the band released an album of covers entitled From The Screen To Your Stereo. They hopped on the Vans Warped Tour in 2002 after they also released their third studio album, Sticks and Stones. They also toured with Good Charlotte on the Honda Civic Tour and afterwards released Catalyst in the spring of 2004. Frustrated and tired of being compared to pop-punk bands Good Charlotte and Simple Plan, New Found Glory took a break from touring and hit the studio. Coming Home, released in 2006, was the bands fifth studio album and aimed to be less-poppy but also less popular than their previous releases. In attempts to thwart their pop-punk label, the band released a couple songs on various compilation albums including Punk Goes Metal and Tip of the Iceberg, which contains covers of classic hardcore punk songs. Their new album is in production and is set to be released in February 2009. New Found Glory tour dates will be announced as they come, along with cheap New Found Glory tickets and information.
