Nickelback has already begun the long awaited tour for 2007. It was set to hit the best arenas across the United States starting on February 20, 2007, in Tacoma, Washington. Opening the dates were the famous Breaking Benjamin and fellow Canadians Three Days Grace. The band has been on the road supporting their recent album All The Right Reasons. Presently, the record has a No. 1 track at Rock radio in "Rockstar." The band is going to make an appearance at the American Music Awards on November 21, 2007, and they will be presenting. Nickelback is nominated for 3 awards: Album of the Year for All The Right Reasons, Alternative Artist of the Year, and Best Band or Duo. The rock band has also announced new dates of their summer 2007 United States/Canada tour. It will stretch the jaunt to the beginning of September. The concert tour continues to back the 2005 release titled All the Right Reasons, which has already sold more that eight million copies all over the world and has become 4 times platinum. It spawned no. 1 hit singles, including “Far Away”, “Animals”, and “Savin’ Me”. The band’s tour that launched on June 28, 2007, by performance at Bay Roberts Festival in Saint John’s currently lists about forty dates, with final performance on September 2 in Kansas City. Nickelback will visit Toronto (Ontario), New Orleans (LA), Detroit (MI), Ottawa (Ontario), Minneapolis (MN), Memphis (TN), Cincinnati (OH), and many other cities. On selected dates the concerts will be supported by Puddle of Mudd, Finger Eleven, Daughtry, and Yellowcard. The well-known bands, like Bands Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin, will help he group to warm up the concerts. The band’s present lineup includes Chad Kroeger (on lead vocals and lead guitar), Mike Kroeger (on bass guitar), Ryan Peake (on rhythm guitar and backing vocals), and Daniel Adair (on drums and backing vocals).
