As part of his 2014 Out There Tour, Paul McCartney will perform in San Francisco's Candlestick Park on Aug. 14, marking the last time a concert will ever take place at the stadium before it is demolished. More than 45 years ago, The Beatles played their final stadium concert at the Bay Area landmark, and now McCartney will complete the venue's legacy with this final show that is sure to be one of the biggest music events of the summer. This concert also marks McCartney's first show in San Francisco in nearly four years.
Candlestick Park Seating Information
Paul McCartney will be performing from a stage on the Field Level of Candlestick Park for the concert on Aug. 14. The closest seating options also will be set up on the Field Level, starting with Sections A1-A5, and then continuing with B1-B5 and C2-C4. The remaining options are in the stadium's standard seating levels, which, in order from lowest to highest, includes Lower Box, Lower Reserved, Upper Box, and Upper Reserved. To the right side of the stage, fans also can find seating for the Paul McCartney Candlestick Park concert in the Lower East Stands.
Due to the unique situation of this former NFL stadium and its upcoming demolition, it is advisable to contact the venue directly with any questions about the accessible services and seating that will be made available for this Thursday night concert.
