Sevendust and Coal Chamber Join Forces on 2013 US Tour
At one point in time, American metal rockers Sevendust and Coal Chamber not on the best of terms. The bands had an infamous fight while touring together, which resulted in Sevendust dedicating their 2003 single, "Enemy," to Coal Chamber frontman Dez Ferrara. But with the recent announcement that the two metal superstars will join forces for a co-headlining tour this spring, all that seems to be water under the bridge, and metal fans around the country can unite for what’s sure to be a spectacular set of performances. The tour is set to begin on March 28that The Marquee in Tempe, Arizona. And after making stops in places like Los Angeles, New York City, Atlanta, and Houston, the run will end at the Palladium Ballroom in Dallas, Texas, on April 28th. Tickets for the shows are set to go on sale this Friday, January 18th.
The 2013 Sevendust tour is coming on in support for the band’s ninth album, "Black Out The Sun," which is due out for release on March 26th. Back in February of 2012, Coal Chamber played Australia's Soundwave Festival for their first reunion show after disbanding in 2003 on the heels of releasing “Dark Days.” The upcoming shows will mark their first U.S. performances in over 10 years. Joining the bands on stage for the duration of the tour will be fellow rockers, Lacuna Coil, while Candlelight Red and Stolen Babies will open select dates.
