Sting Tickets

Whether he's belting out his famous tunes on stage, acting in motion pictures, writing books, or helping out a cause as an activist, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame musician Sting is always busy doing something. Thankfully, fans of his timeless tunes in North America can rejoice as he has announced that he will be back in North America this spring. His 2013 “Back To Bass” Tour is coming on the heels of a critically-acclaimed and popular tour of the world in 2011 and 2012, but this time around the music legend will be performing plenty of his greatest hits in a stripped down fashion, featuring just a 5-piece band. The tour is set to kick off on May 30^th at Prospera Place in Kelowna, British Columbia, and then it will ride through the continent until end of June, hitting up venues along the way like Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO (6/5); Ravinia Park in Highland Park, IL; the Borgata Hotel in Atlantic City (6/14-15); and Bank of America Pavilion in Boston (6/21). Tickets for the shows go on sale on January 28^th.

As noted, the tour will be a stripped-down set of his own material and that of The Police, the Grammy Award winning trio he landed into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with. Joining him on the road will be David Sancious on keyboards, Vinnie Colaiuta on drums, Dominic Miller on guitar, Peter Tickell on electric fiddle, and Jo Lawry performing backup vocals. Sting is also the first artist to be announced for the America Cup’s Concert Series in San Francisco, which will take place on June 2^nd.
