The Arizona Diamondbacks are 21 – 15 at home and 20 – 16 on the road (as of June 20, 2000). They are only one game behind the Los Angeles Dodgers with .571 (41 – 30).

The franchise’s greatest move in the offseason was when, on January 9, 2007, they got their 2001 World Series co-MVP (Most Valuable Player) back, pitcher Randy Johnson. He returned after a blockbuster deal with the Yankees, sending to New York relief pitcher Luis Vizcaino and 3 other prospects.
On June 8, 2007, the Arizona Diamondbacks optioned right-handed pitcher Brandon Medders to Triple-A Tucson as well as recalled right-handed pitcher Jailen Peguero from Tucson. Two days later, the team activated third basemen Chad Tracy from the fifteen-day disabled list. Infielder / outfielder Robby Hammock was optioned to Triple-A Tucson. On June 16, 2007, Arizona placed left-handed pitcher Randy Johnson on the fifteen-day disabled list. Right-handed pitcher Enrique Gonzalez was promoted from Triple-A Tucson. The Diamondbacks also purchased nonroster outfielder Aaron Cunningham from the White Sox for infielder Danny Richar.
