After a season that was filled with disappointment, the Colorado Rockies are making some major changes to their roster ahead of Opening Day 2012. Rockies tickets should be selling out regularly for the foreseeable future with young stars Troy Tulowitzki and Carlos Gonzalez signed to long-term contracts. However, the front office must meet the challenge head on of surrounding the franchise's two stars with the right mix of talent. Colorado added some run-producing quality this December by winning the signature of Minnesota Twins veteran Michael Cuddyer.  The 32-year-old right fielder should take some pressure off Tulowitzki and Gonzalez in the batting order this year in Denver. As spring training and the first game of the season draws near, the Rockies brass will be looking for more ways to improve the ball club.
