Hermida and Johnson propel Marlins

Jeremy Hermida drove in four runs and Josh Johnson pitched six scoreless innings as the Florida Marlins went on to beat the Philadelphia Phillies 8-2 Tuesday night.  Florida jumped ahead 1-0 in the second inning when Hermida was walked with the bases loaded. The Marlins would build a 4-0 lead before the Phillies cut it in half on a Shane Victorino 2-run homer in the bottom of the 7th inning.  Florida added four more runs in the final two innings to preserve the victory and reach within 1 1/2 games of the Phillies. Josh Johnson pitched six innings allowing five hits, no runs and four walks while striking out three.  Hanley Ramirez, Jorge Cantu and Dan Uggla each had two hits for the Marlins.  The teams will square off in the second game of the series on Tuesday night.
