Joba Chamberlain had much better control in his second Major League start, as the New York Yankees went on the top the Kansas City Royals 6-3 Sunday. Bobby Abreu and Alex Rodriguez provided the firepower, combining for 5 RBI. Chamberlain pitched 4 1/3 innings, throwing 78 pitches, allowing only two runs and five hits with one walk. He also struck out and was pulled due to the fact the Yankees are monitoring his pitch count. Dan Griese got the win for the Yankees pitching nearly 3 innings of shutout relief work.
