Duchscherer solid again as A's blank Mariners

Justin Duchscherer pitched a complete game shutout Tuesday night to blank the Seattle Mariners 2-0.  With Oakland trading ace Rich Harden to the Chicago Cubs, it was Duchscherer who took on the new role and looked amazing while doing it.  He allowed just 2 hits while striking out 4 and his Athletics improved to 49-41 on the year.   Emil Brown and Donnie Murphy provided the support as they each had an RBI for Oakland, who scored both of their runs in the first 2 innings.  Duchscherer was in control the whole game as he through 72 of 105 pitches for strikes.  The A's will look to keep things going as they have won both games so far of the four game set with the 3rd game coming Wednesday night.
