The Tampa Bays got swept last time they played the Boston Red Sox, and this time around they are looking to return the favor. They took the second straight game of the series Tuesday night as they went on to win 3-1. Matt Garza pitched 7 dominant innings allowing only 5 hits and 1 run while striking out 3. The Rays struck early as they jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first, and after the Red Sox tied it in the 4th, Tampa struck back to take the lead for good. Dioner Navarro had 2 RBI's for the Rays as he also had 2 of Tampa's 6 hits. Grant Balfour sealed it for the Rays, filling in for injured closed Troy Percival. The series finale is Wednesday.
