Rays rally in 9th for victory

The Tampa Bay Rays are a team believed to be destined for great things this year. It may be true, as they rallied to beat the Cleveland Indians 10-7 Wednesday night. Tampa Bay was trailing 7-4 heading into the bottom of the ninth inning, but that didn’t stop them from putting a six run inning together to come from behind and win. Carlos Pena was the hero as he hit the game winning three run homer off of Cleveland pitcher Masahide Kobayashi. The Rays were able to tie the game with a Gabe Gross two run homer earlier in the inning, and the crowd at Tropicana Field could feel it as a few batters later Pena unloaded for the victory.  Troy Percival picked up the win as he pitched 2/3rds of an inning in the top of the 9th. The Rays managed to take two of three games from the Indians and will look to keep it going in their next series against the Seattle Mariners.
