2009 Charlotte Bobcats Season Outlook

After the Bobcats almost made it to the playoffs last season, they decided to shift gears and made some big changes. Charlotte Bobcats ticket holders will see that Emeka Okafor left the team, but also that Tyson Chandler joined up. With Chandler under the basket, it will be a good year for the team, because he can block shots and hit shots of his own without difficulty. Raja Bell, the returning shooting guard, is hoping to bring his 3-point shooting abilities back into the game. The same talent that made him a key player in Phoenix should help this Charlotte team to finally make it into the playoffs again. Boris Diaw experienced a slight decrease in his shooting percentage last season, but should be back to full strength once again this season. He will be a threat for triple-doubles this season too, since his playing style gives him a good chance for both rebounds and assists. Draft pick Gerald Henderson from Duke will be a great addition to this team with his ability to score dozens of points each season.
