When word first trickled out that the two-time NCAA national runner-up Butler Bulldogs would be departing the Horizon League for the Atlantic 10, few were surprised, but many were curious to see how it would all play out. Since suffering a rather convincing loss to Xavier in the second game of the season, the Bulldogs have showcased not only their staying power in the A10, but in the country as well, collecting wins over ranked foes like North Carolina and Indiana, and notable road victories at Northwestern, Vanderbilt, Saint Joseph's, and Dayton.
