New Look for Chiefs Ahead of 2013 Campaign

Invigorated and rebuilt, the Kansas City Chiefs will head into the 2013 NFL season with a new look and ready to erase the distant memories of last season. On the sidelines, former Philadelphia Eagles head coach, Andy Reid, is in at the helm, and former Green Bay Packers head scout John Dorsey is on board as the new general manager. On top of these staff personnel changes, former San Francisco 49ers QB, Alex Smith, was brought on as well. Matt Cassel keyed the offense in 2012, compiling 1,796 yards passing, with six touchdowns, while Jamaal Charles added 1,509 yards rushing and five TDs, and Dwayne Bowe totaled 801 receiving yards and three touchdowns for Kansas City.

The Chiefs 2013 schedule will begin in Florida, where the squad will face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sept. 8. From there, the squad will host the Dallas Cowboys in the home opener on Sept. 15 at Arrowhead Stadium, and later that week, Reid will go to battle against his former team when Kansas City takes on the Philadelphia Eagles on the road for what will surely be a fiery Thursday night showdown on Sept. 19. The Chiefs will host a trio of home games in October against the Oakland Raiders (Oct. 13), Houston Texans (Oct. 20), and Cleveland Browns (Oct. 27), as well as additional home bouts against the likes of the San Diego Chargers (Nov. 24), Denver Broncos (Dec. 1), and Indianapolis Colts for the home finale on Dec. 22. Purchase Chiefs tickets and support the new era alongside one of the most dedicated fan bases in the NFL.
