Dallas Stars Newsletter - February 2007

The team ended the previous season in the first place of their division. However, a disappointing five-game loss to Colorado in the 1st round of the 2006 playoffs led to some personnel changes to the Dallas Stars. Andy Moog will remain his role as goaltending coach but will now help manager Doug Armstrong in monitoring player development. Ulf Dahlen filled assistant coaching position.

Over the summer, the Dallas Stars decided to release forward Bill Guerin. The team also let Willie Mitchell, Jason Arnott, and Johan Hedberg leave the club as free agents. The Dallas Stars also signed two prospects Junior Lessard and Marty Sertich.
