The PGA Tour is one of the main organizations in the USA that operates the professional golf tours. It organizes three major golf events which are eagerly awaited by the fans. These three much loved events are the Players Championship, Tour Championship and The Presidents Cup.

The PGA selects eligible players through a Qualifying Tournament which is held annually. The first 25 finishers get the privilege to play golf in the PGA Tour for the following year. Also at the end of every year, 125 top money-earners on the PGA golf tour get tour card for the next season, which exempts them from playing qualifying rounds for most tournaments. Also, those who win PGA Tour events get tour card for two years, and an extra year is added with every additional win for a maximum of 5 years.
