Fans can begin making plans for WrestleMania 29, as the date and location have officially been confirmed, and this next one promises to offer an experience much different than in years past. The 2013 event will take place on Sunday, April 7, at the exclusively outdoor MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. The venue, completed in 2010, is open air and lacks the option of a retractable roof, meaning rain, shine or even snow, the event will go on. In addition to WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon, The Rock, John Cena, and Triple H all were on hand for the press conference formally announcing the event and expressed great excitement in WrestleMania’s return to New Jersey and MetLife’s ability to shatter previous attendance records.
No need to wait on WrestleMania 29 tickets as Vivid Seats is already fully stocked with affordable options for what is expected to be one of the biggest events the sports world has ever seen. For those unable to attend WrestleMania XXIX, be sure to keep an eye out for several different events leading up to “The Grandest Stage of Them All,” including the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony, an interactive fan festival dubbed WrestleMania Axxess, Monday Night Raw, and much more.
