Aventura is one of the most astounding and creative artists at present. Originally known by the name Los Teenagers, this group was formed by brothers Lenny Santos and Max and cousins Anthony and Henry Santos in the year 1994. Later on they changed their name to Aventure. They are the first "Bachata-boy band," the first group to wonderfully blend the essence of diverse American pop styles.
This talented band of young boys had to struggle for eight years, before they gained recognition. Aventura signed with BMG in the year 1999 and three years down the line i.
e in the year 2002, this group became popular with the album – We Broke The Rules. The exclusive and superb style of the band was soon passionately loved by the young Latinos in New York. The phenomenal recognition of Aventura was not only in US and Latin America, but its popularity has reached the zenith in Europe as well. Many of their albums topped the charts for months. Among other places, Aventura charted number one in Austria, Romania, Holland, Spain, Belgium and Slovenia.
Aventura is continuing to be the leader of the Pops and popular shows like European MTV in places like Italy, Spain, France and Germany. On September 27th 2005, Aventura released the DVD- The Love & Hate Concert, which had a striking sale record of over 40, 000 units. Again, Aventura was sold out on March 10th and March 25th at Madison Square Garden and Altos de Chavon, Dominican Republic, respectively. Moreover, this dazzling group took 3 Billboard awards in the year 2007.
