About the Insane Clown Posse
People commonly know Insane Clown Posse as ICP. It is a hip hop group and consists of two members. The members are Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope. Their original names are Joseph Bruce and Joseph Ulster respectively. Besides doing hip hop, they also have their own wrestling federation. Both the members of ICP belong to Wayne in Michigan. The group was formed in Delray. The group was initially a part of a much bigger group known as the Inner City Posse. This group could not remain together for long and it broke in 1992. From there formed the Insane Clown posse. They released their album in 1990 but the one which gained some attention was the Dog Beats which was released in 1991.
ICP has performed in many concerts and tours around the world. They have a large fan base. The fans of ICP are known as Juggulattes or Juggalos. These Juggalos normally paint their faces in white and black color. They wear clown face make ups. In various polls ICP has been rated as the worst band of many genres of music. This also includes polls conducted by Blender and also by Spin. It has also been nominated for the “Worst Band” and “Worst Singles” awards consistently at NME Awards.
The ICP duo has had some success and they have earned a platinum album. Four gold albums are also to their credit. ICP has also started their own feature film. They also have a wrestling federation known as Juggalo Championship Wrestling, JCW.
