Modest Mouse Books Coachella Shows on 2013 Tour
Modest Mouse faithful have been patiently waiting for the follow up to the 2009 EP, “No One's First and You're Next,” and though there’s still no definitive date for a new album, fans of the indie rockers can rejoice in the release of a full slate of Modest Mouse 2013 tour dates. For the U.S. portion of the run, Modest Mouse will stick to California and Arizona, with the first show taking place on April 10 at the Fox Theater in Oakland, Calif. From there, they’ll be making a very special appearance at the 2013 Coachella Music Festival, and will play at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif., on both Friday dates, April 12 and 19.
For the duration of their headlining shows, Modest Mouse will be supported by fellow rock act, Survival Knife. Together, the bands will play a pair of shows in Arizona at the Rialto Theatre in Tucson (April 13) and the Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix (April 14), before traveling back west to California for performances at the Fox Theater Pomona (April 16) and Alex Madonna Expo Center in San Luis Obispo (April 17). After the band’s U.S. jaunt, they’ll tour throughout Europe in June and July.
