Polo Polo
Polo Polo is very well known for his mature-themed humor albums and shows, predominantly for his application of the Albur as a humor component. He is a brilliant Mexican comedian known worldwide. Polo Polo started with his work in 1972, as he showed his talent in a little night club, in Mexico City's Pink Zone. The comedian has a dedicated fan following, which kept on increasing as he took his talent to the much superior Keops Nightclub.
As the recognition of Polo Polo continued to increase, it was decided that his shows would be moved to the Crown Hall. Right away he set a record for the most number of viewers, which stands even today. Polo Polo recorded his opening album, a collection of live matter from amidst his shows in the city of Mexico, called the Viaje a España. Even thought there was not much radio airplay because of its racy content, his album became a huge hit and went on to sell over 100,000 copies.
In 1988, Polo Polo made his very opening debut in Hollywood at the Super Chache Club where the 10 day runs played every night to a packed audience.
