RBD is a Mexican pop band that has achieved a great commercial success and received a Latin Grammy Award nomination. The band is also popular in non-Spanish speaking countries. They have sold more that twenty million records worldwide.

The band is 4 times nominated in 3 categories for the 2007 Billboard Latin Music Awards. The musicians are also two times nominated in the category for 'Latin Pop Album Of The Year By A Duo Or Group', with Celestial and Live In Hollywood. The band was also nominated for 'Latin Tour Of The Year' and 'Top Latin Albums Artist Of The Year' for their successful Tour Generación in 2006. The band won in all the categories that they were nominated in. Their 2007 world tour called Celestial, started in Ecuador on April 20.

RBD performed as guests during the Miss Universe 2007 final in Mexico, at the end of May, 2007. The band was personally chosen by Donald Trump. The group performed "Wanna Play", "Cariño Mio" and "Money Money" during the event. In June 2007, the band recorded the video for "Bésame Sin Miedo" while touring across Europe, Romania. After that, they went in Spain, and recorded a new live DVD, Live In Madrid, that will be released in September 2007. Recently, the band was chosen to headline, along with Black Eyed Peas, a series of Pepsi commercials.

In July 2007, the band performed their hit single "Bésame Sin Miedo" at Premios Juventud 2007. RBD won seven awards that night, including "Voice of the moment" and "Favorite Concert". In all, the band has won twenty-four Premios Juventud awards. On July 20, 2007, they showed the new tour bus on El Gordo Y La Flaca for the Celestial World Tour. On July 25, the band performed and acoustic concert in Mexico City as part of their new show entitled Confesiones En Concierto. RBD has also been nominated as best international song of Tu Amor in France that proves the band’s huge international success.
