You might be wondering what The Revolve tour is all about. It is a weekend gathering for teenage girls where they go to worship God, watch some Drama, hear true-to-life stories, and yes, learn about guys. The Revolve Tour is a division of Women of Faith, which is a faith-based organization that teaches women from all walks of life to become spiritually mature by having a relationship with Jesus Christ and by knowing God's love and grace. The Revolve Tour focuses specifically on teens.
Women had been writing for years about their experiences in Women of Faith and asking if similar activities are available for their teenage daughters. In response to these letters and requests, The Revolve Tour was birthed in 2005. On the first year, the Revolve Tour traveled only to five cities. That number was doubled in the next year, with the tour going to 10 cities in the United States. The Revolve Tour is definitely growing and is scheduled to go to 14 cities for the 2007–2008 season. To date, the group is happy to announce that since the tour started, more than 8,700 young girls have decided to live for Jesus Christ for the first time.
The Revolve Tour stands by a statement of faith which includes believing the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, that there is one God in three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) who has revealed Himself through the creation, throughout history, and through Jesus Christ. The group also believes in the person and work of Jesus Christ and in his death, resurrection, ascension, and return. The group promotes the spiritual unity of believers and upholds the importance of the church for worship, acts of service, and mission work. The Revolve Tour's lineup for 2007–2008 includes Hawk Nelson, Natalie Grant, KJ-52, Ayiesha Woods, Chad Eastham, Laura Wilkinson, Rachel Hockett, Brie Reed, and Max and Jenna Lucado.
