Tori Amos new record

Tori Amos, a famous singer and songwriter, has recently started world tour behind new release. The singer will ride through the United States, and Canada, starting in October 2007. North American tour leg starts on October 9 in Albany (NY), and will hit about fifty cities. Tori Amos will visit New York (NY), Denver (CO), Los Angeles (CA), Montreal (QB), Boston (MA), Cleveland (OH), Toronto (ON), Chicago (IL), Houston (TX), and many more. Present Tori Amos tour itinerary includes right thirty-three cities. Tori Amos is touring in support of her new studio album entitled American Doll Posse that hit stores in May.

Tori Amos has just finished the European leg of her world tour, and is now building the itinerary for her North American jaunt. After a September run across Australia, the singer and pianist will be back in the United States starting from October in New York. Tory Amos will make her way across the states through the middle of December 2007, stopping for a few performances in Canada and wrapping in LA.

The Grammy-nominated artist, Tory Amos is supporting her 9th record called “American Doll Posse”. It surfaced in May and snagged the number Five spot on The Billboard 200. The sprawling, 23-song set introduces a quartet of alter-egos that are modeled after Greek goddesses:, the emotionally wounded but idealistic Clyde, the warrior Pip, the outwardly political Isabel, and the sensualist Santa.

The new record that follows 2005’s studio album “The Beekeeper,” was written and produced by Tori Amos and recorded at her own Martian Engineering Studio in England. The album is available in a limited-edition version. It includes 5 collectible postcards, a 36-page booklet, and a DVD with behind-the-scenes footage and a bonus track. Tori Amos is expected to announce a series of official live bootlegs that were recorded during the artist’s fall tour, according to reports.
