Orioles 7 Royals 5

Despite a 2 run 9th inning rally, the Orioles were able to hang on and beat the Royals Tuesday night. The Orioles racked up runs early, scoring in the first two innings before a four run fourth against a shaky Luke Hochevar. Adding to the Orioles runs was Brian Roberts who added a solo home run and Ramon Hernandez and Adam Jones who both had a 2 RBI night. The Royals would threaten in the ninth, however, scoring two runs off of Dennis Sarfate before George Sherrill came in to nail down the save.
