The New York Mets seemed to be in control Tuesday night, but the Arizona Diamondbacks had other plans. After the Mets jumped out to a 5-1 lead, the DBacks rallied to tie the game in the 6th. The start of the 7th inning brought on an hour rain delay, which things only got worse for the Mets. Arizona continued their surge going ahead in the 8th and adding 3 more runs in the 9th. David Wright connected for his 12th home run of the season and Moises Alou added 2 RBI, but the Mets bats fell silent after the 2nd inning as they could not manage to score any more runs.
