Every team is represented at the annual SEC Tournament, which this year will make its way to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena for the second time in four years and first since 2010. The defending NCAA champion, Kentucky Wildcats, have struggled to remain in the national rankings, but have thrived in conference play, while the performance of the Florida Gators this season has surely been the talk of the SEC, with Alabama and Ole Miss figuring into the mix as well. Conference newcomer, Missouri, has hit some bumps in the road, but has managed to maintain its place in the top 25, while fellow newbie, Texas A&M, has had its ups and downs, but did collect a rare road win at Kentucky.
2013 SEC Tournament tickets are on sale now for the five-day event scheduled for March 13-17. Fans will have the option to attend each and every game of the tournament, or can purchase seats for an individual day. Last year’s conference title went to Vanderbilt, which upset Kentucky to claim only its second-ever SEC Tournament crown and first since 1951. Since 2003, the Wildcats have won four titles, followed by Florida with three, and Georgia, Mississippi State, and Vanderbilt each with one apiece.
