Introduction
Welcome to the 2017 vividseats.com Bracket Challenge (the "VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE"), which is based on the results of the 2017 NCAA® Division I Men's College Basketball Tournament (the "Tournament"), administered via the www.vividseats.com website. On March 12, 2017, the Tournament's qualifying college basketball teams will be announced (the “Seeds”). Registered participants (“Participant”) will enter by selecting the winners of all the games of the Tournament via the bracket form on the www.vividseats.com website (the “Bracket”). Registered participants earn points by correctly predicting, through their Bracket, the winning team as detailed below in the Eligibility & How to Play section below. One (1) promotional credit (the “Promo”) valued at $500.00 (as defined below) shall be awarded to the person whose bracket is awarded the most points. In the event that there is more than one person with the same amount of winning points, the winner shall be chosen in a random drawing (“Winner”). Your likelihood of winning depends on the number of overall entries in VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE and your success in predicting the winners. The VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE is FREE to play. No purchase or entry fee necessary to enter or win.
The Administrator
Vivid Seats, LLC ("VSL") will serve as the Administrator of VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE and will be solely responsible for resolving any disputes that arise regarding violations of the rules. VSL’s mailing address is: 225 W. Randolph, 30th Floor, Chicago, IL 60606.
Eligibility & How to Play
The VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE shall run from the time the Seeds are announced on March 12, 2017 until the final game of the tournament is played, which shall be on or around April 3, 2017. In order to be eligible for the Promo (as defined below), you must create a bracket between March 12, 2017 when the seeds are announced and 9:00 am CST on March 16, 2017. In order to create a bracket, you must choose a team to win for each game. If your bracket is not completed in the time allotted (between March 12, 2017 and 9:00 am CST on March 16, 2017), you will not be eligible to participate in VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE or be eligible for the Promo. Limit one (1) Bracket per Participant.
No purchase of any sort is necessary to enter or win. The VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE is open to Registered Users (as defined below): (a) who are legal residents of the United States; (b) who possess a valid driver's license issued in your state of residence; and (c) who are at least 18 years old or age of majority, whichever is older in the state of residence, at the date of entry in VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE. Void outside the United States and where prohibited by law.
For purposes of these Rules, "Registered User" means a person who has successfully completed the registration form, which includes providing their email to Vivid Seats ("ID"). By becoming a Registered User, you agree to receive marketing emails from Vivid Seats. The www.vividseats.com website Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy are hereby incorporated by reference in these Rules.
All Registered Users must have a valid email address to register (“Registered E-mail”) which will used to communicate with you regarding the VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE. There is no fee or charge for you to become a Registered User. If you are an employee of Vivid Seats, you are not eligible to win. Each Participant is entitled to only one (1) Bracket entry. In the event you are eligible to win and it is discovered that you have more than one bracket, you will be disqualified and your bracket invalidated.
Registered Users can sign up for the VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE at any time by visiting the www.vividseats.com website prior to the start of the first round of the Tournament, on March 16, 2017 at 9:00 A.M CST. Users must go to the URL: http://www.vividseats/bracket-challenge.html and follow the onscreen instructions. Each Participant is limited to only one (1) Bracket entry.
Making Picks & Scoring
The maximum amount of points possible to be awarded for a bracket is 192 points. If you choose the winning team in your bracket, you shall be awarded points in the following manner:
Round 1 First Round - 32 Games: 1 point
Round 2 Second Round - 16 Games: 2 points
Round 3 Sweet Sixteen - 8 Games: 4 points
Round 4 Elite Eight - 4 Games: 8 points
Round 5 Final Four - 2 Games: 16 points
Round 6 Championship - 1 Game: 32 points
Note: The 61st through 64th teams will be determined by the first four (4) games of the Tournament, played on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 and Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Prior to completion of those games, the 61st through 64th teams will be listed on our brackets page as "Team 1/Team 2", and Participants are free to pick "Team 1/Team 2" in the first round, if they want to submit picks before such games are completed.
Prizes
In exchange for your submission of a Bracket pursuant to these Rules, each Participant will receive a 10% (ten-percent) off one-time promotional credit (the “Credit”) with a maximum value of $200.00. The Credit may be redeemed toward any one-time purchase made online at www.vividseats.com or over the phone for your ticket total on a future purchase. The Credit shall not apply to service or delivery fees. The Credit has a unique identifier that may be used one (1) time by entering it into the promos/gift cards field at checkout (or by giving it to an agent). There is no cash equivalent for the Credit and it may not be transferred, including to another email address or Registered User. The Credit shall expire on April 3, 2017 at 11:59 pm CST. The Credit shall be delivered to the email address provided by you when you become a Registered User.
The Winner shall be awarded one (1) promotional credit valued at $500.00 (the “Promo”) shall be awarded to the person whose bracket is awarded the most points. In the event that there is more than one person with the same amount of winning points, the winner shall be the person who chose the final score that is closest to the actual final score in the championship game (“Winner”). Your likelihood of winning depends on the number of overall entries in VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE and your success in predicting the winners.
The Winner may redeem the Promo credit toward purchases made online at www.vividseats.com or over the phone for your ticket total, service charge, and delivery fees on a future purchase. The Promo credit has a unique identifier that may be used over multiple transactions placed from your Registered Email address only by entering it into the promos/gift cards field at checkout (or by giving it to an agent) until the value of the Promo credit is $0 or the expiration date has passed. There is no cash equivalent for the Promo credit and it may not be transferred, including to another email address or Registered User. The Promo credit shall expire one (1) year from the date of delivery.
If you are the Winner, you will be notified using the Registered Email address you provided no later than April 30, 2017. In the event you do not respond to the email notification within five (5) business days, the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or you decline the Promo, an alternative winner shall be chosen based on the same criteria until such a time as the Promo is able to be awarded.
Odds
Odds of winning the Promo depend on the number of eligible Participants and their Bracket scores based on the outcome of the Tournament.
Legal Disclaimers
Each Participant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Rules and by the decisions of Administrator, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Each Participant also acknowledges and agrees to the VSL Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy both of which are incorporated by reference.
Taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the Prize Winner. No substitution or transfer of the Promo Prize is permitted except by Administrator.
The potential Winner will be required to sign and return, within ten (10) days of issuance, the Affidavit of Eligibility and Publicity/Liability Release, except where prohibited by law. Failure to return such documents within the specified time period and noncompliance with these Rules by the potential Winner will be reasons for disqualification, and an alternate Winner shall be selected in accordance with these Rules (as applicable).
Except where prohibited by law, the Winner's acceptance of the Promo constitutes permission for VSL to use the Winner's name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice and address (city and state) worldwide and in all forms of media, now known or later developed in perpetuity, without further compensation. Additionally, Participants agree to VSL’s use of their names and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes, in any media now known or later developed, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. VSL does not warrant the accuracy of any statistics or information. The VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE is purely for your entertainment and enjoyment. VSL disclaims all liability and you waive any claim with regard to any errors or ambiguous language contained herein, within the VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE or within related advertising.
The VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE may not be used for any type of gambling.
If you are violating any of the Rules or Terms and it is discovered by Vivid Seats, you shall be barred from participating in the VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE
VSL is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected online entries or transactions, for incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete entry information, whether caused by a Participant, equipment, or technical malfunction or for any human error, technical error or malfunctions. Any entry that is incomplete, late, or does not include a valid Registered User ID will be disqualified.
VSL reserves the right to halt or modify the VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE at any time for any reason. VSL reserves the right to modify these rules for clarification purposes. In the event that the VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE is challenged by any legal or regulatory authority, VSL reserves the right to discontinue or modify the VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE. In such event, VSL shall have no liability to any Participants who are disqualified due to such an action.
VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE and VSL are not affiliated with or endorsed by the NCAA or any NCAA team. NCAA®, SWEET SIXTEEN®, ELITE EIGHT®, and FINAL FOUR® are trademarks of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The NCAA is not a sponsor of this promotion. This is a game designed to increase consumer awareness of and interest in www.vividseats.com.

For the name of the Prize Winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope for receipt by April 28, 2017 to " VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE 2017 WINNER” c/o Vivid Seats, LLC 111 North Canal Street, Suite 800, Chicago, IL 60606. For a copy of the Rules, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope for receipt by April 28, 2017 to the above address marked "VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE 2017 RULES” c/o Vivid Seats, LLC 111 North Canal Street, Suite 800, Chicago, IL 60606. Residents from VT may omit postage on the self-addressed envelope.
VSL and its parents, affiliated and subsidiary companies, and advertising and promotion agencies assume no liability and are not responsible for, and you hereby forever waive any rights to any claim in connection with injury or damage to any Participant or to any other person's computer or property related to (or resulting from) participating in VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE or downloading materials from this VIVID SEATS BRACKET CHALLENGE.
