We understand the singular joy that comes from attending live events and believe we all benefit tremendously from a transparent marketplace that guarantees flexibility and choice. To deliver on these standards, we believe the entire ticket ecosystem should uphold the following fan rights:
Flexibility
Fans are entitled to the flexibility to buy tickets at a time convenient for them, including at the last minute. Fans may want to find a more competitive price than initially offered or may be willing to pay a premium for a desired seat. The fans' free market determines the price.
Peace of Mind
Ticket sales should be transparent and secure. Every ticket platform should guarantee all tickets sold are valid. Fans deserve the security of knowing all sellers are vetted and tickets are delivered securely.
Freedom of Choice
A ticket purchased should be treated as a fan's property. That means the absolute right to use it as desired — to see the show in person, to give it as a gift to friends or family or to sell it on any chosen platform at any chosen price. Anything that limits the way customers discover and sell tickets in an open, competitive marketplace should be prohibited.
Seamless Ticket Transfers
Fans have the right to transfer tickets without artificial restriction from original ticket issuers. Ticket issuers should foster seamless ticket transferability by removing undue requirements — such as the forced disclosure of personal information — that make it more difficult to transfer a purchased ticket freely.
