Humanitarian Bowl Renamed Famous Idaho Potato Bowl
In August, the Idaho Potato Commission joined forces with Bronco Stadium to sponsor Boise's annual bowl game. The Humanitarian Bowl will be renamed the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in 2011. Famous Idaho Potato Bowl tickets are being swooped up by Ohio Bobcats and Utah State Aggies fans with both schools competing in the December 17th game. The Bobcats will be fixing to redeem themselves after coming up just three points short of a conference title in the MAC Championship game. more
Utah State is enjoying a fine season in their own right, averaging 277.5 yards rushing a game. The spotlight will be shining brightest in Boise on Utah State's 1,416-yard rusher Robert Turbin and Ohio's sophomore QB Tyler Tettleton. While it's difficult to determine which team will prevail on the blue turf this year, the fans traveling to the state capital for the game should be in for one entertaining contest.
