The Past of the Colorado Crush
The Colorado Crush is an Arena Football League team. In 2003 they began their career in the league as an expansion team. The Colorado Crush currently plays under the Central Division of the American Conference. The team is based in Denver. They play home games at the Pepsi centre. Apparently the centre is also the home of several other teams including the National Lacrosse League's Colorado Mammoth, the Denver Nuggets under the National Basketball Association and the National Hockey League team called the Colorado Avalanche. The mascot of the team is bull named "Crusher.”
The main owners of the Colorado Crush franchise is Denver Broncos and John Elway. There are also other minority owners like Stan Kroenke who also owns the nuggets, avalanche and Pepsi centre. The Colorado Crush competes against other big teams in the Central Division of the American Conference. They had a terrible inaugural season in 2003. But in their second year they made up for the past mistakes. In 2005 they won the Arena Bowl XIX in Las Vegas. This victory came just in their third year of playing professional football.
In 2006, their fourth year, they delighted their fans by winning the AC Central game for the 2nd year in a row. The Division round did not end up in their favor and they had a stunning defeat 63-46. They lost out in the divisional championship to Denver who was the first football team to win the Arena Bowl way back in 1987.
