Comcast Center - MA Information
The Comcast Center is located in Mansfield, Massachusetts. It is an outdoor summer music venue that has a capacity of nearly 20,000. The Comcast Center got its new name in 2008, in which in previous years it was called the Great Woods Center for Performing Arts and the Tweeter Center. The amphitheatre opened in the mid 1980's and features all types of music artists, with previous performances from Bruce Springsteen, Dave Matthews Band, Jimmy Buffet, Kenny Chesney and many more. It is next to major cities including Boston and Philadelphia, which brings fans from a variety of areas. The Comcast Center makes several arrangements for those with special needs and they can accommodate all types of guests. The venue changes its schedule yearly and because of its location it operation generally in the summer and early fall months. The venue offers regular parking as well as premium parking for those looking to park closer to the gates. There are covered seats, open air seats and the general lawn which gives fans plenty of options to enjoy their favorite bands at the Comcast Center.
