Utah Tech Trailblazers Football calls St. George, Utah home, with the program founded in 2006 and surging today in the Big Sky. Saturdays light up 10,000-seat Greater Zion Stadium, where the red-rock backdrop and the Stampede student section turn close games into roars. Fans roll in early for the Stampede Student Tailgate in Lot T, then pack both grandstands for a fast, high-energy night under the desert sky.

Accomplishments here span eras. The modern program climbed to Division I FCS in 2020, became playoff-eligible in 2024 and entered Big Sky play in 2026. Its lineage features multiple Dixie Rotary Bowl victories and alumni like 12-year NFL lineman Barry Sims. The annual Battle for the Ax versus Southern Utah adds heat, highlighted by a 48-36 win in 2022, a reminder of how loud St. George can get.
