The Michigan Tech Huskies have been playing football since 1920 in Houghton, Michigan, where fall Saturdays feel tailor made for hard-nosed NCAA Division II action. The Huskies captured a GLIAC championship in 2004, added a GLIAC North Division crown in 2012, and reached the NCAA Division II playoffs in 2004 and 2014. The program’s heartbeat echoes through Sherman Field at Kearly Stadium, an intimate 3,000-seat setting ringed by pines that puts fans right on top of the action.

Husky Pride peaks during the annual Miner's Cup showdown with Northern Michigan, a century-old rivalry that animates the Keweenaw. The Husky Pep Band powers a rowdy student section, tailgates warm the mid-autumn chill, and the Kearly family legacy lives on in the stadium’s name. If you’re chasing vivid game-day memories, Houghton’s black-and-gold tradition delivers.
