The Truman State Bulldogs have been part of Kirksville, Missouri since 1900, building a proud Division II tradition in the GLVC. The Bulldogs claim 26 MIAA championships and a shared GLVC crown in 2016, plus recent postseason sparkle with America’s Crossroads Bowl victories in 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2024. The program’s golden run under Don and Fred Faurot in the 1920s and 30s remains a touchstone, while standouts like Cody Schrader showed the nation what Bulldog grit looks like.

Tailgating starts three hours before kickoff, the Statesmen Marching Band fuels the tempo, and Spike rallies a student section that lives for big third downs.
