Born in 2019 in Brookville, New York, LIU Sharks football brings Long Island pride to the Division I FCS stage while honoring decades of LIU Post tradition. The program’s resume includes multiple Northeast-10 Conference championships, an NCAA Division II quarterfinal run in 2005, and an unbeaten 2018 regular season capped by the Lambert Cup. Icons such as quarterback Perry Klein and longtime head coach Bryan Collins helped shape the identity Sharks fans celebrate, with annual NEC clashes against Wagner and Sacred Heart fueling the fall.

Home Saturdays at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium feel close-knit and loud. The 6,000-seat venue puts fans near the action, and the student section sets the tone with chants in blue and gold. Tailgating on the Brookville campus and community traditions turn every game into a Long Island gathering, inviting first-timers and diehards to make new memories with the Sharks.
